Hushroom — Cozy 3D Virtual Study Hall & Social Sim

Hushroom is a free browser-based 3D social simulation and virtual study hall game. Customize your clay-toy 3D chibi avatar across six clothing and accessory categories, step through the study hall door, and take a seat at a shared lamplit oak table alongside up to nine companions from around the world.

How to Play Hushroom

Unlike traditional productivity trackers or noisy chatrooms, Hushroom combines an interactive Three.js 3D diorama with independent Pomodoro timers and break-gated social mechanics. While your timer is in Focus mode, your character writes in their notebook at the shared table and chat stays locked so your attention is protected. When your break begins, your avatar stands up and walks to one of five cozy rest spots—the rain-streaked window seat, leather sofa, bookshelves, stretch corner, or sleeping cat rug—and Break Chat opens.

Four 3D Diorama Scenes: Join the 8-seat Public Study Hall, the 8-seat Library Loft with a crackling fireplace, or create an invite-only Private Fireside Lounge (6 seats) or Attic Study (2 seats).
3D Character Creator: Mix and match 6 hats, 6 hairstyles, 9 outfits (hoodies, cable-knit sweaters, cardigans, overalls), 5 shoe types, and 9 stackable accessories (glasses, studio headphones, scarves, backpacks, ear pencils).
Dynamic WebAudio Soundscape: Seamless CC0 rain, room tone, and hearth fire loops automatically respond to the room's collective focus density, paired with synthesized chimes and interactive cat purrs.
